Villa Kropak is located high above the lush Sidemen Valley enclosed by a semi-circle of  deeply wooded mountains. The clear, clean waters of the Tukad Unda River flow through the valley and on either side  of the river rise high wooded mountains, their lower slopes a patchwork of green rice fields and terraces . The main village of Sidemen is  situated on the main road from the coast and is a thriving local hub. The towering presence of the volcanic peak of Gunung  Agung, about one hour from the village,  dominates the entire area and its slopes are the site of one of the most sacred of all of the temples in Bali, Pura Besakih, the Mother Temple.

Our superbly appointed four bedroom  villa, has been designed as a traditional two story Balinese structure, with an alang alang roof, lush tropical gardens and one of the best panoramic views in Bali. Dine alfresco on our dining terrace – all meals are supplemented with fruit and vegetables from our local organic garden – or sample one of the nearby restaurants on the Tabola Road. Guests can also access our glorious wet-edged pool with overlooking  vista  of rice terraces and mountainside.
