Indonesian Cooking School

Learn how to cook some of Indonesian most famous recipes with our chef at Villa Kropak’s Cooking School. Often described as one of the world’s most vibrant and flavoursome cuisines, Indonesian food combines staples such as rice noodles, protein and vegetable highlighted by a range of delectable spices which add complexity and flavour to the dishes.

From the ever popular Nasi Goreng and Satay to traditional vegetable dishes such as Sayur Urab and Green Papaya Salad, our cooking school offers private lessons for couples and for families – children included. The cooking school is conducted in the villa kitchen overlooking rice fields and river valley and features fruit, vegetables and spices from our own gardens. The class includes a visit to the early morning village markets and of course, you will get to sample what you have cooked!
